Peonies After the Festival

Beginning May, 2020, our community began holding an annual Peony Festival.  You see, the Peony is the State flower of Indiana.  The event is one day, and many vendors attend, as well as many, many fans of peonies.  Parking is never convenient, and I haven't attended the festival, though I follow it on Facebook seeing the photos others share.

This year, the weather was perfect for the entire day, not too hot, not rainy, not too cold.  A few days after the event, we drove over to the one block square park where the festival was held.  Several years ago, the City planted many peony bushes in various beds around the park.  I enjoyed walking around looking at the full and beautiful blooms, as much as photographing them, as the sun was going down.
