On the Patio between Spring and Summer

Last evening, as I sat on the patio for a short while enjoying the very warm and comfortable temperature, I noticed the plants beginning to show their growth, buds and blooms.  I've been tending to their pots of soil, adding water, and adding some stones (to deter the squirrel and chipmunk from digging).

The Solar light was a gift from granddaughter for Mother's Day, and though I am not outside at night when it lights up, it brightens the area even in the daytime.

The Campanula has been slow starting this spring, but is now looking healthy and is a nice green.  The newly purchased Clematis has found its way to the trellis with the quickly growing tendrils.  Miss Garden Phlox has really matured this spring and is full of buds just waiting to burst open very soon.  The large majestic Mother's Day Geranium is beautifying the area with her rich deep red, and the Coral Bells are blooming and elegantly swaying in the breeze around the solar light.

Lime/raspberry zinnia starts are just about ready to transplant.

Many hours of enjoyment await us on our cozy patio.
